Can you have quality down bedding, and color too?

We are sometimes asked if we sell Colored Down Comforters; pink comforters, black comforters, etc. We do not. The colored down comforters on the market today are all made with low quality materials. They can be quite affordable (around $30.00 and up), but they'll likely leak down, or the down will shift. In short, they just don't compare to the best down comforters in feel, insulating ability, quality of materials and construction.

Of course, there is a practical need for inexpensive bedding. This is just not a market that we serve. If you are looking for a colored down comforter or down alternative comforter at an affordable price we suggest that you try Wal-Mart, JCPenney (when they're on sale), or perhaps Overstock.com .

The best down comforters are available in white (only) because they are usually covered and protected by a duvet cover. Using a duvet cover not only protects your down comforter; it allows for great design flexibility. You can simply change your duvet cover (and the whole look of your bedroom) without having to buy a new comforter.
