Lyocell (a fabric made from the Beechwood Tree) is much more absorbent than cotton, resulting in a wider "comfort range" (great for couples with different internal thermostats). It's a natural fiber with outstanding characteristics: Lightweight. Down proof sateen weave. Very soft, and strong. This fabric is what cotton wants to be when it grows up! It also happens to result in an absolutely outstanding down comforter.
