Healthy Sleep and Your Bedroom Environment

Sleep: A time to dream, to recharge, to rest deeply. Sleep is extremely important
to our physical and mental well being. The quality (or lack) of your sleep
has a major impact upon the quality of your waking life.
Quality sleep is not a luxury,
it is a necessity; just as important to your well-being as clean air, clean
water, good (healthy) food and regular exercise.
Your sleep environment plays an important part in the quality of your sleep.
Your bedroom and, perhaps most centrally, your bed, should be a sanctuary, a place
of rest and renewal.
The joy of sleep and the pleasure of a really comfortable bed is one of the
main reasons we started Plumeria Bay®. There is nothing like the comfort
of a bed fitted with fine
linens, down pillows (we like lots!) and
a down
comforter. We live in the Northwest, in the foothills of the Cascades, and
keep the window next to our bed open even on the coldest of nights
in the middle of Winter. Our room is cool and yet we stay warm and cozy. I think
the fresh air helps contribute to a good sleep.
Aside from your bed, there are many other factors that can affect the quality of your sleep, including diet and exercise. If you have problems sleeping, please do take some time to review the information on the following sites.
