Our Review of the Intellibed Nightfall Mattress

This review is our opinion only. We purchased our Intellibed Nightfall Mattress and have not been compensated in any way for this review.

The Intellibed Nightfall Mattress

 

We purchased this mattress from a local brick and mortar mattress store instead of the online bed-in-a-box route.  So, instead of spending hours and hours researching the Internet for different mattresses, we spent a couple of hours letting our backs do the research.

 

I was surprised by how quickly the Intellibed mattress differentiated itself from all of the other mattresses on the showroom floor, and again by how the Nightfall version seemed to feel just about perfect compared to the firmer Midnight version, and the softer version whose name I do not recall.

 

 

How it Feels

We've been sleeping with our Intellibed Nightfall mattress for over 1 year now.  It is very comfortable, maybe the most comfortable of all of the mattresses we've reviewed here (Tuft & Needle, Tempurpedic & Avocado).

 

Side or back sleeping is extremely comfortable.  Even rolling over to get close to a stomach sleeping position is comfortable (this, coming from someone that  does not like stomach sleeping).

 

The Intellibed Nightfall seems to offer just the right amount of support, regardless of sleeping position.

 

There have been a few mornings where I've woken up with unexplained aches and pains, but I have to say that these pains cannot be attributed to the mattress - even though my first reaction was to do just that.  The fact is, there are just some things that a mattress cannot be responsible for, like getting old. :)

 

Aside from being exceedingly comfortable, this mattress has decent side/edge support, and very good movement isolation.

Intellibed is now Purple

Since we purchased our Intellibed Nightfall in July of 2023, Intellibed was purchased by Purple.   So, sorry to say, the Intellibed Nightfall mattress is no longer available.

 

However - do not despair! Purple now appears to offer their version of the Intellibed Nightfall, which they call the RejuvenatePlus™ Mattress. 

 

I would highly recommend that you stop by your local mattress retailer and give the Purple RejuvenatePlus a spin, and compare to the other mattresses that are on offer.
