How To Choose Your Featherbed

More Feathers in a featherbed will make the featherbed firmer and more supportive. The more down that is used will help to make the featherbed more resilient, or fluffy. So, knowing that...

The Stratus™: The large (baffled) bottom chamber of the Stratus is filled with springy feathers and the top chamber is filled with a layer of down. The Stratus™ will provide the most support of our featherbeds, with a firmer feel, since it has the most feather.

The Alto™: The large (baffled) bottom chamber of the Alto™ is filled a blend of feather and down (90% feather, 10% down). The top chamber is filled with all down. The Alto™ will have more resilience and will sleep softer than the Stratus™, because it has more down.

The Cirrus™: The Cirrus is filled with all goose down, no feathers. The Cirrus does not offer a lot of support compared to our other featherbeds, because it does not have any feather. It does provide that soft "like sleeping in a cloud" feeling that some people feel epitomizes the perfect featherbed. The chambers in the Cirrus™ are baffled to prevent the down from shifting, but there is not a top or bottom layer like the Stratus™ or Alto™.
