Pure Eiderdown
Eiderdown Is the softest and lightest down in the world. It is extremely rare and highly prized. This genuine eiderdown is never blended with any other type of down.
Our eiderdown comes from a sanctuary located on islands in Canada's St. Lawrence Estuary. This sanctuary is closely managed and cared for by the Société Duvetnor Ltée (a non-profit organization), in cooperation with the Canadian Wildlife Service. More info about eiderdown.
Eiderdown is extremely soft and silky, which contributes to the special feel when laying in the gentle embrace of an eiderdown comforter. Perhaps most importantly however, is eiderdown's ability to manage warmth. Eiderdown has a phenomenal "comfort range". This means that it will keep you warmer when it's cold, and cooler when it's warm, far better than any other down.
Genuine eiderdown tests at approximately 700 fill power. Yet, due to the very tiny "hooks" in the eiderdown cluster it has a phenomenal density and cling and insulates at an amazing 1000+ fill power. If you were to hold a small amount of eiderdown in the palm of your hand you would feel no weight, just a soft growing warmth. Really quite an amazing sensation.
This eiderdown is gently cleaned & completely sanitized to the highest standards of freshness, purity and cleanliness.

Caring For Your Eiderdown Comforter
Is easy! Fluff daily, and keep in a duvet cover.
Your eiderdown comforter is machine washable, but should only be laundered if and/or when necessary (excessive washing is hard
on the down clusters and strips the down of its natural oils).
Please see our down comforter care guide for more information.
The storage bags our eiderdown comforter comes in is pure breathable cotton and is perfect
for storing your comforter when necessary.
